Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

DE̶ÇO͝MḾIƧ̸S͢IO̵ИED͞

Welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Sidon's and Ashe's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

INVESTIGATIONS
THE BATHROOMS
Alright... we'll begin here.
[ tilting their head at the bronze notification before they sweep it away to dismiss it. ]
Seems like we may have to make a small pitstop elsewhere after this before meeting back with the others. So stay sharp... Shout if you need assistance.
no subject
[ owner pulls the blanket closer to be more comfortable. ]
Then let's begin.
[ okay first, i guess, is there anything immediately noticeable about the entrance itself. how's the door?? any damage? or anything around the entrance on the floor. markings? trails? ]
no subject
[ Blade is...perhaps still not the best conversationalist at times, yet all the same he gives a slight nod at those words. Then carries his gaze over the points that Owner does.
Anything else that can be easily witnessed beyond the door? Strange things able to be viewed from their line of sight on the walls past it? Strange sounds that should not be? ]
no subject
meanwhile, also visible from the doorway is the fact that one of the mirrors over the sink seems to have been the victim of being partially shattered ]
no subject
well, guess they can split up here. owner will head over to the shower, and for a moment looks rather nostalgic. THE RESTROOM... SUCH FOND MEMORIES WERE HAD IN HERE.........
anyway on the way to the sound of the water, is there anything on the floor? BLOOD?? water drops? or is it all clean and dry? ]

OMEGA MART
At a glance, they can see that one section of Omega Mart is messier than the rest. ]
no subject
well that all looks great. he'll head in, careful to avoid stepping on anything on the floor or kicking anything out of the way in his surprisingly thigh-high but quite flat-heeled boots.
he'll follow the mess in, taking a look around as he goes - does it look like there's a clear path through here where the mess goes? anything like blood or other bodily fluids on the floor? ]
no subject
or in this case she will head to the location that is messier than the rest of the store. what does she see?]
no subject
Lucien is so careful... This can of corn thanks him. Lay it to rest. As he searches through the mess of items when he heads in, he may find a few of droplets though they don't make a clear trail. They are just around, clear in color and very sparse.
On the messier side as Margaret shifts over, she will see... Again, so much mess just worse, then down that aisle is the poor floral department which was also affected. Some of the bucket of flowers were spared at least, but many of them have toppled over with flowers splayed on the floor with the rest of the market items. ]
no subject
clear droplets, but no blood right?

is it water? please be water. or does it appear to be something else? ]

however, it's not in pristine condition YET AGAIN. it's a little bit of a mess in here. ]

the mess is located... everywhere! many pieces of the cute decor and furniture are overturned - both chairs and tables - and there's a mess of squishy lil balls and liquids all over them, the floor, the walls. cups, boba straws, macarons litter the floor.
bnuuy bot is there, hiding in a corner with a tearful emoji face much like the nyanbots last week, but appears undamaged. ]
no subject
she's going to go look at the mess a little more closely where the food items and things are. she will take one of each thing on the ground that you mentioned and hold it in a cup. is there any blood or scratches or things like that around? anything on the overturned tables/chairs?]

ARMORY & COMBAT ROOM
Right away, they can tell the room is very cold and.. wet. Tis wet. It also looks like a mess given there are just plentiful amount of weapons scattered and thrown about. ]
Be thorough, and don't hurt yourselves. Let me know when you're done.
no subject
Thanks, Europa. [ he immediately shivers when they enter the cold room though, and he's carefully walking in. is the entire armory floor covered in water? or is it wet in different spots/clustered more in some areas than others? he's also going to start checking the ground for any glass now that they know snowglobes are a thing. ]
no subject
Got it, friend.
[while shoma does that, charles will first try and see if he can open every locker like a nosy binch. also, do all of the weapons scattered on the floor look like they're from the armoury, or is there any that stands out?]
no subject
The room doesn't look to be covered in water in what you might expect from a flood or something, no it's more that it is wet in different spots/clusters yeah. But in general the room seems Wet. With a bit of a trail from where you came into the armory. Since Shoma is specifically looking at the ground for glass, he'll catch glints of glass among the mess on the floor. Pieces of shattered glass, and something more notably shiny buried.
Charles has no respect for privacy and tries to open every locker, what the feck. He does not find anything notable in the lockers though. Just untouched suits, helmets and boots that are normally here. Looking at the weapons scattered around... yes, they look like they are all from the armory. He'd also be able to tell that all of these are smaller weapons. Throwing knives, ninja stars, kunae, batarangs... and so forth. ]
no subject
also since he's down here is there glitter or snowflakes in the water as well? ]

THE STRIP MALL
it looks to be a shop that specializes in very dapper clothing. There looks to be a lone mannequin postured in the wide window, dressed in what looks to be some very dapper clothing and holding a plain-looking cane. ]

no subject
he's going to trail after sheba at a slower pace, watching his step for anything out of the ordinary. how's it looking ]
no subject
as kazuki and sheba enter, they can tell even at a first glance that some real shit went down here. all sorts of dapper clothing and accessories have been strewn about; display racks have been knocked over.
they will both something is sticking out of the wall right by the entrance now that they're inside... ]
