Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Sidon's and Ashe's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

owner has a few seconds where he considers the flaw of the mortal form before pulling the pan all the way out and just setting it on the ground. that's okay. is there anything else in the oven? what was the meal...... is there anything about it other than burnt............... ]
no subject
[ Blade says from over here, because he doesn't know how Owner is with these type of things. A knife missing, though? Hm.
Assessing the amount of food happens, with him taking note of its volume, taking a quick picture, and then...so does the next.
Anyway, he also just looks down blankly to see what ungodly mess his foot managed to splash into. ]

blade takes a picture of the volume of the food (sorry i can read) but yes... a knife is missing from this knife block.
in any case, blade stepped in blood. and a not-too-small amount of it. it's not enough to be fatal, of course, but it is a substantial amount. like you didn't just cut your finger while chopping veggies. ]
no subject
but okay, while blade looks at knives and steps in blood, owner will walk around the area to see if there's anything else that might be chilling. anything on the walls? or up on the ceiling? ]
no subject
But, anyway, that is a lot of blood? Of course it is.
Is it just the one and only puddle of blood he happened to step into? Or is there more? Or other specks of blood on tables, counters in here? ]
no subject
there is only this puddle of blood, no drips or dribbles. there is no blood on the counters or shelves or tables or anything like that... just here on the floor. ]
no subject
IF THIS IS ALL CLEAR HE'S DONE but gotta be safe ]
no subject
Just to make sure?? Otherwise if he's all set then yeah ]
no subject
nothing in the trash either.
if you believe it to be all set or have grabbed everything you think is relevant to whatever happened here, sure! ]
no subject
BLENDER? ON TOP OF THE STOVE? FREEZER? TOASTER? ANY CLOSETS? DISHWASHER? ]
no subject
Anything hidden in the mixed bowl of vegetables? Nothing weird on the empty pot?
Anything else amiss on the floor? ]
no subject
nothing off about the drawers, and nothing odd about the ceilings. nothing hidden in the veggies, and nothing weird about the pot, it's just a pot.
the floor is fine save for that single pool of blood blade checked out by the counter with the cutting board and knife block. io will take you back if you want to leave (burn kit prepared). ]
no subject
if you make another ominous mod comment I will spiral again and waste all our time ]
no subject
If not, then :prayercircle: hoping everything was got and gonna say ready tentatively to move on. ]
no subject
in any case, we'll head out then, goodbye galley. back to trial! ]
