Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Sidon's and Ashe's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

Looking specifically at the section, keeping the weapons he's seen and spear in mind - yeah, he can tell the only thing missing is a spear from its rack and smaller weapons are accounted for being hazardly thrown around the room. Messy. Though looking at the selection he can see a bow missing from its own rack, and a mace from its section. ]
no subject
We should check nothing's buried under all the weapons, too. Just in case.
no subject
[he will keep these missing weapons in mind, and then go to check if anything looks different about the target in the back.
but afterwards he will carefully try to sweep weapons aside using his practice sword to see if there's anything underneath.]
no subject
A glance at the target in the back doesn't have anything stand out. The target is vibing and ready to go at all times. A careful sweep, however, will show mostly the same aforementioned small weapons. But as Charles carefully sweeps along, he'll find something long and thin that stands out from beneath the debris. ]

anyway while charles is doing that, shoma will also go back to looking at the tumbling mats, etc. does there appear to be anything that stands out like water, footprints, scuff marks, tears, etc? ]

Reach your hand and see, Charles. ]

no, Shoma can see as Charles reaches down and... a rope has been acquired. Yay. ]
no subject
[ none of the other weapons look like they were actually used right? i believe charles checked but shoma will double check while charles has rope. ]
no subject
[it is just a rope right, he has finished pulling and there's nothing attached at the end?
anything else on the floor if he sweeps further?]
no subject
Charles pulls the (long long man) rope and it's just rope, nothing attached at the end. A careful sweep shows bit more pieces of glass, since the rope was pretty close to where Shoma found the broken snowglobe but that's about all he finds outside more scattered weapons. ]

[just because i'm paranoid, he's going to check the target again. no damage to it? if he touches it, does it feel cold at all?
also, without knowing exactly how strong the blizzard is, could one make an educated guess if like. all the weapons scattered on the floor were the only weapons light enough to be tossed around by a blizzard wind? aka the weapons still in place might've been too heavy?]
no subject
And I see it is spiraling hours. He checks the target again, but there is no damage to it outside the norm assuming people have actually used the target for practice. It doesn't necessarily feel cold at all.
It doesn't look like a light toss around? They are thrown and scattered around with all kinds of distance so it isn't like it's centered in just one area. They are all around the room. ]

...let's take the rope and the snowglobe parts back and get a closer look. I think we found all we need to find here?
no subject
[yea let's go unless we get an ominous mod comment]

Europa looks over. ] ...Assuming you have everything, let's head back.
