Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Sidon's and Ashe's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

[ Blade is...perhaps still not the best conversationalist at times, yet all the same he gives a slight nod at those words. Then carries his gaze over the points that Owner does.
Anything else that can be easily witnessed beyond the door? Strange things able to be viewed from their line of sight on the walls past it? Strange sounds that should not be? ]
no subject
meanwhile, also visible from the doorway is the fact that one of the mirrors over the sink seems to have been the victim of being partially shattered ]
no subject
well, guess they can split up here. owner will head over to the shower, and for a moment looks rather nostalgic. THE RESTROOM... SUCH FOND MEMORIES WERE HAD IN HERE.........
anyway on the way to the sound of the water, is there anything on the floor? BLOOD?? water drops? or is it all clean and dry? ]
no subject
Any blood to be found on said mirror? Strange stains? Any other oddities surrounding its partially broken state? (Anything else found in the nearby surrounding area of the sink like the walls and the floors as well?) ]
no subject
owner turns to look at the floor and finds that there aren't any rogue water droplets or blood on the way to the stall the water's rushing from, though there is the faint tangy scent of blood on the air? very faint.
he sound of the water is coming from one of the 5 minute showers, and as owner approaches the sound, they'll see it is the one that has been rigged to run for as long as you need. nothing is sacred.
blade heads towards the mirror and will see that there is mirror glass all around the sink area. no oddities, beyond the fact that it looks only partially shattered. there is no blood on the mirror. no strange stains. since he is there... there's something resting in the bowl of the sink... ]
no subject
no subject
While he is here, how about he checks out what exactly is resting in the bowl of the sink? Totally not ominous at all... ]
no subject
blade will find... an arrow here in the sink! and since the edit in the last tag mentions he checked below the sink, he will be rewarded for his thoroughness. there, below the sink, is a small piece of metal, sharpened into a point at one end. ]
no subject
but okay, time to check out that stall instead then, what's going on here? is there anything damaged? blood? is it wet? ]
no subject
Same for the piece of metal, hm.
Clarifying questions:
Anything else contained/notable about the sink other than the arrow? Same thing for the area below the sink where the piece of metal was located? ]
no subject
owner is checking out the stall and will see a puddle of blood that has only partially drained away into the drain on the ground. the water in this shower hasn't run in a while, it seems, since this shower isn't rigged to run infinitely like it's better, sexier sibling, so it's still staining the ground. it's... quite the sizeable puddle. it's still :Wet:
blade can scour this area, but he has picked up the arrow and metal already, so otherwise it's only got broken bits of mirror glass surrounding it. nothing else is really noticeable about the sink beyond the pieces of glass that have fallen inside. ]
no subject
no subject
He will snap a photo of the broken mirror in its current state.
Next...beyond the ones Owner is currently checking out in the bathroom they are both in, would there necessarily be something immediately noticeable upon peering at the other stalls? ]
no subject
blade will take a look into the other stalls! cool. is he checking just the other shower stalls? or the toilet stalls as well (since both are here!) just for clarity's sake. ]
no subject
owner is going to look up and see if there's anything in the... uh. shower hose? whatever it's called??? before going to go back to the previous stall to reach in and turn it off while blade investigates the other ones. IF THERE'S NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF WITHOUT GETTING WET THEN IG IT'S WET TIME
also is there anything on the ceiling in general ]
no subject
no subject
thank you also for turning off the water. owner can get a little wet as a treat if you want. you can look at the ceiling, but nothing seems to be there, however as owner does this, he might notice what looks to be some damage on one of the walls in the bathroom? huh.
blade is doing his best and scoping out the rest of the stalls one by one! nothing seems out of the ordinary in any of the showers. as he searches the toilet stalls, all seems normal at a first glance... there's even a large... sidon-sized toilet in here.
does he examine them further at all? ]
no subject
anyway, huh. time to walk over to check out this wall. is there anything on the ground leading towards it? markings? items? blood? water? and once he gets to it, what's the damage. it is LARGE or small. where on the wall?? high up? low.... ]
no subject
Henceforth, he will fearlessly check to see if there's anything in the toilet bowls, or underneath the toilets, for that matter. The Sidon-sized toilet included, of course.
The immediate surface of the floor upon which these toilets are situated happen to be scoped out as well. ]
no subject
for owner: no, there doesn't seem to be anything on the ground leading towards it, markings or otherwise. once he gets to it, he can see that it looks like this section of the wall has some pretty severe damage done to it - there are numerous scrapes and cracks as if struck numerous times. looking at where it is on the wall, owner can see that in comparison the strikes are mostly occurring just below his shoulder.
for blade: doing the dirty work, wow. proud of him. rockbottom... toilet bottom... it's all the same. he is checking these bowls and below them, as well as the surface of the floor. nothing seems to be going on with the floors around each toilet, and as he checks the regular ones they all seem just fine with normal water levels.
the large sidon-sized seems to have a higher level of water than the others by comparison... nothing is visible from simply looking inside, however. ]
no subject
what's the shape of the damage? like is it like something like a crater, where the damage is around an impact point? or is it scattered? does it look like it could potentially be done by some kind of weapon, like a blade (hi blade), since owner would at least know what that looks like, unless it's too inconclusive.
also, are they thicc? if owner compares with fingies and hands, are they thinner?? thicker?? how long are they??? ]
no subject
Anyway, nothing is visible even if he lifts the toilet bowl of the Sidon-sized toilet and looks a bit closer? If not, he figures there could be something stuck inside, but sticking his hand inside of the toilet doesn't exactly guarantee he'll be able to get it.
They might need to call for help to see if there's something that can be used to retrieve it. Another question, though, is if these toilets have like one of those tanks where you can lift off the top?? If so he will just also check there for good measure. ]
no subject
the shape of the damage itself is hard to discern - it doesn't look like a blade (hi blade) but rather there are multiple, smaller impact points circular in shape, scattered on this concentrated portion of the wall. there are some scratches in this area as well. and what size is owner's hand? small, medium, or large?
even if blade lifts the toilet bowl and looks in closer, it's still hard to discern why this water level is higher than the others. there are no toilet tanks on any of the toilets, they're all one piece because i refuse to think about toilets ♥ i love you! so they cannot be checked there.
blade can call for assistance, however, if he needs something, though. io is sending something out on their i.r.i.s., but is listening out for you two. ]

no subject
Either way, Blade refuses to leave this alone. Stubborn streaks are real. ]
IO, we require your presence.
[ Blade is not the type of person who asks for help in anything, but he manages (though the volume certainly elevated because he is very much capable of raising his voice.) ]
