Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Sidon's and Ashe's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

great, he'll step back to observe the scene as a whole while Margaret digs in closer - is there anything else out of place they've missed or is most of it in this area?
Does it look like a blizzard could have happened in here - as in, is there anything slightly soggy like melted snow, or leftover ice marks. ]

On Lucien's side of Omega Mart and freezer back aisle, he has nothing left to see with his tube aside from the knocked down grocery shelf against the freezers that separates him and Margaret.
The strands are strands. It is hard to tell without a closer look at them, but they aren't very large. They don't seem to match anything around her, though... No vegetable or fruit here with red strands. ]

does it look like something heavy (perhaps a frozen sidon) was dragged through here? Or more like people were engaged in combat? ]

Omega Mart items are under it from likely being toppled over... But as she peeks where it meets the freezer (which has some collision damage) and more under it, she can glance the bottom part of a blocked freezer having a pole stored inside. It does not fit with the rest of the Omega Mart items in there. It's the freezer door in the middle, very blocked by the shelf.
She won't be able to make it out without moving the grocery shelf and it looks. Very heavy. ]

he will help with the grocery shelf but he ain't gonna volunteer for it, Margaret will have to ask (but you can assume he helps if he's asked) ]
no subject
There's some kind of pole here, but I can't move the shelf that's in the way.
[so. let's try. but also she will snap some pictures of the damage.]

Lucien, with Margaret politely asking, helps with removing the shelf. With their struggle and pain where they could cause lower back problems in the future, they can access the freezer doors now. The other two freezers the shelf blocked show nothing off about them.
The middle freezer, with the pole, is now in view for both of them. It's a spear... And there's more damage on the door than what one would expect from a grocery shelf toppling onto it. The items in this freezer are also crushed inward (further into the freezer) or dented. ]
no subject
Keep holding the shelf.
[ OKAY BOSSY!!!!!!
does it seem like the damage could have been caused by someone of sidon's weight and height, or smaller. ]
no subject
[she will drop it on him the second he extracts the spear. sorry.]
no subject
Do not ask me about door mechanics.
There is a clearer view of the damage on the inside of the door. The impact cracks are not only large, they are at a high height (so Sidon possible). There are thin scratches along the door, too.
Anyway, spear granted and Margaret abandons Lucien. ]
no subject
What the fuck?
[ well I FEEL WE NEED TO HURRY so instead of arguing with Margaret right at this moment he has obtained a spear and will inspect the door damage - do the scratches seem to match the spear end? ]
no subject
anyway, she will look around the rest of omegamart? is there anything else missed or did we get it all?]
no subject
The scratches could match the spear, but Lucien will make out a lot of the scratches come in a set of five, no matter the direction.
You guys have seen everything you need to see! ]
