I.R.I.S. SYSTEMS ARE UPDATING TO ALLOW SHIP AND CONCOURSE-WIDE ACCESS AT THIS TIME IN PREPARATION FOR INVESTIGATION AND RESOLUTION OF THE EVENTS FROM THURSDAY EVENING AND FRIDAY MORNING.

Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.

Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.

The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Margaret and Sora's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.

[ okay, boys and girl. Well fortunately Guy gets the lights and we can see everything in here. Guy is still in the entryway, so he will see a blood trail coming through the entry/exit way into the theater.

To note the structure, there are two stairways for the rising seats (one closest to the entry/exit, then the one on the other side of the seating aisles) and then the cinema stage with the ground floor seats.

Both Dion and Mizuki go into the theater, having to start at the bottom, they will see the same trail of blood. Dion stands there, trying to see if there's anything immediately suspicious at the ground floor. It's difficult when there are so many seats both on the ground floor, then the rising aisles in the back where Mizuki is, so he may need to decide which area he'd like to look.

For Mizuki who is already heading to the back end of the theater, which would be up the stairs, she will find the blood trail connect here all along this stairway which is closest to the entrance. The closest seat to the stairway in the furthest aisle looks a little dark and damp on the top. ]

[ hmm, he'll glance at the screen. ] ... Is this movie of any significance?

[ ??? a clue??

but okay, he'll look at the area in front of the screen first since he's here. anything on the ground here? or any damage to the screen itself? ]

[mansplains]

Guys, there's a blood trail leading towards Mizuki. [ if they haven't already spotted it ]

I'm not sure about the movie. It seems like... science fiction?

[ question mark. just to clarify the blood trial comes from the entry, goes to the backend, then loops back around to the exit? guy will also check the confession stand since i'm assuming it's nearish to the entrance ]

[ Help her she was born in 2007 do you think she would know. ]

Wait, I see it.

[ She will continue up, following the blood trail! When she reaches the top and spots the seat, it's... time to examine this some more. If she presses a finger against the edge of the damp.. spot... does it leave any residue? ]

[ Dion approaches the cinema stage of the theater and admires the movie... I have never watched it, so the wikipedia is what you get from me.

Now he snoops after enjoying cinematography. There is no damage on the big screen itself, but as he looks to the ground, he will see there is a mess of items and objects behind the ground floor seats that will need a closer look. There's also a strong iron smell while he's close to the ground for a look. He should know what this smell is as a soldier.

Shoots Guy don't go to the concession stands. Amalthea will tell him there's nothing worth looking there, but if he wants popcorn they can get some after.

So far from the areas they are currently looking at, the blood trail has been seen in the entry and connects to the trail going up the closest stairway. Guy will notice at the entry way that there isn't another trail that connects back here.

When Mizuki presses the spot on top of this chair... It does leave a red residue on her finger. ]

If both figures left the spa, then it's possible this is where the battle with Mistress Sora ended. Do you see large amounts, Mistress Mizuki?

[ but okie, he will walk over to the objects to take a look. does he see any blood as he approaches or is it just the smell? ]

[mansplains]

The trail of blood only leads in, not out. So I think you might be right, Dion.

[ i see.... guy gets shot with a rubber bullet, confirming amalthea as the killer..... but no, once they're done they can have snacks. is there like a projector room they can investigate? if not, he'll look around and under the seats that haven't been looked at yet. ]

[ also another question: does the trail look like someone staggered/ran in, or was dragged or carried in? ]

—Hey! That trail leads up to here. I think there's blood on the seat.

[ I SHOULD HAVE ASKED BEFORE okay how damp is this seat? Or rather... if this is, presumably, blood, how covered in it is it? ]

[ Dion will walk over to the clearing between the big screen and the ground floor seats... The Mess of Objects. There he will find that there is a large puddle of blood, hence the smell. There are speckles of blood around in this area and also a trail leading away (not toward the entry direction). Next to this large blood puddle are weirdly shaped crystals and two large shards. Concentrated around the crystal and shards is also dust and against the dust is a silhouette, a shape.

Guy can investigate the projector room, but there is nothing aside from the fact he finds the movie playing. It is called "Gattaca." When he goes out, he can look under the seats, aisle by aisle, I'm assuming?

For the blood trail, they're like trickles, so likely not dragged in.

Mizuki checking how damp it is will see it's just the top of the seat this darker smudge is on. It isn't that covered, the spot is palm-sized or so... ]

[ what direction is the trail leading? further into the theatre seats? ]

There is a large puddle of blood here, as well some sort of crystals and shards.

[ just announcing that to the room.

would the shards happen to be reflective? like...... a mirror perhaps?

anyway, he'll crouch down to peer more closely at the monkey dust. what is the shape looking like? can he pick it up? ]

Crystal sounds like what Anise said Sora had. I think she walked here herself... she was alive.

[ yes guy is checking row by row, every seat that hasn't already been checked. he's very meticulous ]

[ Hmmm...

Snaps a pic of the bloodstains and trail leading up to it! Does this lead anywhere else or is that the end of this particular clue? ]

[ Dion, looking for the pathing of the trail, will see that they are may be coming from the furthest stairway away from the entrance (Mizuki is on the closest stairway). At a glance, the large shards are not reflective. Upon crouching to the dust, he will find the dust isn't super fine like powder. It's coarser. He cannot cannot pick up the shape because the dust outlines what looks like a partial footprint.

Guy personally checking the aisles will find that the seats lining closest to the stairway (closest to entry) have speckles of blood. He will also see as he crosses through the aisles that the furthest stairway does indeed have a blood trail going along it and down to the ground floor.

Eventually, he will meet Mizuki at the back aisle which is where the blood trail connects from both stairways. They both will see it from their respective sides (they are on opposite sides of the aisle). This seat aisle is a bit of a mess. Some of the seats look like they took a beating and there are some things on the floor. ]

[ okay, so just to be clear, there's a trail of blood leading from the entrance up the stairs closest to the entrance, and then down the other stairs to this puddle? not that he can see the entire trail, but guessing based on what guy and mizuki have said.

watch dion stick his hand right on the dust lmao... no i'm jk, he will put his foot next to the partial footprint and take a picture with his IRIS. ]

Amalthea... might you have a napkin or something similar?

[ is it possible for him to take any of the dust onto a napkin without disrupting the footprint? if not, he'll just take some from the corner to do the least amount of damage ]

[ oh yes guy is taking pictures of the blood trails while spoon asks what i wanted to ask ]

[ anything else to be found in the seats? ]

[ What has been seen from all three characters in regards to the blood trail: there is a blood trail at the beginning of the entryway that leads to and along the closest stairs, across the topmost seating aisle, then along the furthest stairs, and to the cinema stage. It ends there.

Amalthea will come over with some small tools to scoop and a plastic bag. he can decide wherever to collect. It's all the same.

There... Are some things on the floor and also some beaten up seats. Would we like to take a closer look here? What do we mean by "anything else to be found in the seats?" Maybe I'm misunderstanding. ]

anyway, he will ask for amalthea's help to gather the shards and the crystals. i'm assuming these will require evidence tl, but do the crystals seem to be whole? is there a countable amount?

he'll also take a look at the seats closes to the puddle. is there any blood/damage on the seats? ]

[ yeah guy was looking to see if there was more damage from the seats, or things wedged in or under the seats. you know how like popcorn and tickets get lost in the seats or left in cupholders? like that but with murder ]

[ Yeye, what sippo said. There's two of them so they can both doublecheck to see if there's anything amiss with any other of the seats. ]

[ Amalthea will collect the two shards and the crystals.

The crystals are crystals and Dion sees crystals which will be in detail when he goes to evidence later. When he looks to the seats near this area, he will see blood speckles similar to the ones near the puddle.

As Guy looks through the seats, deep look, he will see there is nothing lost between the seats when playing with the sitting portion of the theater chairs or in the cupholders. In terms of the damage itself, he will see that the beaten ones are torn with shallow cuts at the top. Some in this damaged bunch are more damaged than the rest.

Mizuki will see the same thing as Guy as she also knocks against whatever it is on the ground near this section of the aisle. ]

[ why do i dislike the word speckles here

These items will likely require closer examination at the hall.

[ looks under the seats as well in case anything has rolled under, and at the ceiling out of paranoia ]

[ is mizuki knocking against a mysterious item we haven't seen yet or it just the crystal/shards/suspicious powder/etc ]

[ also sorry im a bit confused on the speckles, are they like along the seats on the innermost seats as if someone was like kinda spraying blood as they walked or something? ]

[ I will acknowledge MYSTERY THING and so Mizuki will bend down to check what it is. ]

[ They're drops around not in a pattern that matters, but scattered on the cinema stage ground floor seats facing the big screen. It's more that there might have been conflict here and blood flew sometimes. Same can be said for the blood drips found along the chairs along the close to entry stairway that Guy saw earlier.

I read the trauma in your words and I understand. You're rewarded with Dion will not find more under the seats in the cinema stage area. There is nothing up in the high ceiling.

Guy and Mizuki are not where Dion is, so everything Mizuki and Guy are seeing is different. Dion's at cinema stage that is the ground floor. Guy and Mizuki are at the back-most aisle at the top of the stairs.

As Guy checks to see if it's a crystal or whatever on the floor, he will find that it's a broken sphere-shaped item and shards next to it. Mizuki also looks down after ogling the suspiciously torn seats a little bit to find a partial footprint nearby. ]
