I.R.I.S. SYSTEMS ARE UPDATING TO ALLOW SHIP AND CONCOURSE-WIDE ACCESS AT THIS TIME IN PREPARATION FOR INVESTIGATION AND RESOLUTION OF THE EVENTS FROM THURSDAY EVENING AND FRIDAY MORNING.

Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.

Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.

The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Margaret and Sora's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.

[ the make up looks like it was smudged mostly on the bridge of her nose and the corner of her eyes there. the side of her head in a direct line to her ears is also smudged... the rest of the make up seems nice and unsmudged.

her eyes and mouth don't seem to have anything special about them. looking at her hair, her bangs and her hair around her left temple seem to be matted with something sticky and darkish. ]

hwhat kind of sticky and dark? blood? or something else? he will use all senses but taste to find out. And I guess probably not hearing either, until the goop is screaming. ]

[ unfortunately lucien can tell it's blood even though he doesn't taste it. zero stars. what's the point of living if you won't even lick matted hair. there's so much of it, too. what a waste. ]

does the blood come from an injury around her temple? or is there just blood on her head with no source?

is there anything around to remove makeup? a convenient pack of neutr*gena wipes? he'll circle back around to that if there isn't. he is not using gloves by the way we touch corpses with our bare hands here. ]

[ what is more dire than a murder, wow!!!

there is in fact an injury around her temple! he has to move her matted bangs out of the way to properly see it, but it's there. there's about a two inch long and narrow abrasion that seems to be the source of the blood. there is a bruise surrounding it.

his hands are now full of clown make up and blood. there is no convenient wipe directly around, but he can probably get it from some silly people who look like they are cosplaying as part of daft punk if he asks nicely. ]

[ before he cleans her face off - does the makeup look like its shifted AT ALL like she was running around a lot or does it look fresh and sharp except from the sunglasses imprint

great well i guess he will put gloves on since amalthea is shaming him and then he will remove all of this makeup from her face. ]

[ no, her make up looks like a nice fresh face, except for the smudged parts that may or may not be sunglasses.

after wasting several make up wipes on this because juggalo make up is awful, lucien can now notice two new things! first, there's a small bruise in the middle of her forehead (maybe the size of a quarter). the second is that she looks like she got a nice tan... except around her eyes, the bridge of her nose and some of her temples. what a mysterious shape that is paler wow ]

i knew it i knew she had a damn bruise in the middle of her forehead under her bangs smashes my skateboard in victory. does the bruise look like the ones on owner/diluc/temenos? and does the SUNGLASSES tan look like the shape of the SUNGLASSES?

apart from that he'll take another look at the abrasion now that it's clean. it's about two inches long - how wide? does it look like maybe she was shot with something and it grazed or, or hit with something instead?

to not waste too much time he'll also take a look at the back of her head. ]

[ A MYSTERIOUS SHAPE NO ONE KNOWS

yes it does look like a sunglasses tan. the bruise does not look like the ones on owner/diluc/temenos, however!

the abrasion is longer than it is wide. it does not look like the result of being shot, and with the bruise surrounding it, he can tell it is more likely to be she was hit by something.

there's no wound on the back of her head, but it looks like the blood oozed down from the abrasion to it. it was hard to tell with her hair in the way, but since he's touching it! congrats! blood flow. ]

[ oh interesting - so bloodflow like she was laying down on her back and oozing for a while?

he will move on then to her neck and shoulders, and yes, the hilt. is it just sticking out of her chest. is it a whole ass sword or just a hilt. ]

there is nothing to note on her neck and shoulders. the hilt is in her chest! sticking out of there. there does seem to be a sword attached to it. ]

[ before he remove it he'll inspect it - is it a particular looking type or kind of sword, is it shoved all the way through. how is she laying down right now. sord. ]

[ it is not any particular type of sword. regular sword. it looks like it's shoved all the way through... but she is lying down on her back completely fine without anything sticking out of it. ]

[ okay sorry but he is going to try and take her clothes off without removing the sword first because he he does that there's just going to be blood fucking everywhere and it'll be a mess and you can't see anything? there just isn't enough makeup wipes in the world. is there anything else on her torso or simply Sword ]

[ there is a little bit of blood that seems dribbled from the sword wound (swound) on her clothes and chest! not a ton, though.

otherwise, there doesn't seem to be anything else of note. now she is naked with a sword sticking out. congrats. ]

looking at her arms and hands? anything under her nails and do they appear injured in any way? ]

[ nope!!!! nothing of note on her arms and hands. no secrets under her nails as well. ]

[ leggies? the butte? unfortunately, her feet as well. they are bare, correct? ]

[ nothing of note on the leggies. as for the butt, i'm not sure how he's manhandling her to check this while she's got a sword sticking out of her chest. i guess he can grope the butt or like, put her on her side to check out her ass. it's a regular normal ass, the niceness of which is depicted in the ass chart.

the feet are bare. no shoes, no socks, no nude tights, nothin'. just free foot content. out there on the internet for everyone to see. ]

anyway he's not a foot guy so he gets absolutely nothing out of this. but fine, okay, pulling the sword out CAREFULLY. ]

putting out the sword from the body, lucien is declared king of United Free Trade Planets.

just kidding. he takes the sword out and while there is of course Blood, since she's dead it does not actually spurt all over. this was very careful for no reason. now that it's pulled out he can see that it went straight through her heart for the exact area. as for the sword blade itself, it is... about four inches total. damn. maybe it's cold in that body? maybe the sword is a grower, not a shower? most likely it's because the blade is clearly broken, though. ]

[ well its bigger than todomatsu. looking at the sword back and forth but a full inspection feels like a job for Evidence top-level so I guess he'll hang onto it for the moment.

does the injury seem to match the sword exactly like she just got stabbed uno time or multiple times?

and is there anything in the pockets of her clothes?]

[ keep the strays for dick check, damn. the injury does seem to match the sword exactly though.

inside her pockets, there is... a multitool, some packets of terrapin jerky, and a bottle of some kind. nothing else here! ]

okay well putting those things all in the evidence list too. Does the sword injury go all the way through, and seems like the sword broke off after? Or did its meager 4 inches fail to piece the width of her body and it seems like she was stabbed with the broken bit?

also I'm so sorry but Margaret seems like a cursed ladypocket type person is there anything in her bra ]

[ there is nothing in margaret's bra. except, well. boobs, i guess. the normal thing that goes in a bra.

the injury does not seem to have penetrated deeper than the broken sword would be able to go. i regret using the word penetrated immediately but i'm leaving it there for honesty. ]
