I.R.I.S. SYSTEMS ARE UPDATING TO ALLOW SHIP AND CONCOURSE-WIDE ACCESS AT THIS TIME IN PREPARATION FOR INVESTIGATION AND RESOLUTION OF THE EVENTS FROM THURSDAY EVENING AND FRIDAY MORNING.

Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.

Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.

The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Margaret and Sora's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.

well, he is going to look over her first without doing any touching, for this initial look over. he is looking for anything that might be an obvious injury, like bumps, scarring, blood that might not have been washed away... ]

[dropoffs]

[ She looks like herself as shown in the photo, spiky, gnarly, hairless, large nasty teeth... Just full on glory to be witnessed and behold.

There's nothing suspicious on her. No injuries of any kind, either, but her chest doesn't rise and fall as Owner checks her. ]

[discomfort]

[ hm.

okay yeah he is just going to go and place his hand over where her heart should in theory (???) be. he will move around if he doesn't hit an immediate heartbeat because no idea what this DEFINITELY A DOG's anatomy is like. ]

[dropoffs]

[ SHE IS... SO SPIKY... OWNER POKES HIMSELF FOR TRYING. He pokes himself a couple of times while trying to do this, but he hears the heart beat maybe.

There's a wetness that will drip onto the side of his head. ]

[discomfort]

[ i wish i could say he cares about being poked but he does not

[ LOOKS? WHAT IS DRIPPING ONTO HIS HEAD ]

[ It's green, slimy liquid coming from Aurora's mouth. She's awake, hello. ]

[discomfort]

Oh. Good morning!

[ it's not morning ]

Here, allow me to keep checking you over, ma'am.

[ he is just going to go back to trying to see if there is anything on her..... like she isn't drooling on him....... ]

[dropoffs]

[ As he looks her around again (she's starting to growl), she has no injuries or suspicious marks on her body.

Anything else he'd like to see? ]

[discomfort]

[ ignores the growling.

he will try to check her claws, and then after her mouth. ]

[dropoffs]

[ She is wet and full of spikes and her little feetsies are clean and wet.

Her mouth has so much teeth and attempting to check her will prompt the threatening growl getting louder. She doesn't like that, but there's nothing inside her mouth. Her teeth are large and wild, but none broken. ]

[discomfort]

[ IGNORES THE GROWLING

also to confirm, since he had the video, if he tries to look for the spot where it looks like the blow that was depicted in it was landed on her, that also looks fine? none injury or anything there? ]

[dropoffs]

[ When looking at that spot, in relation to the video, she does not have any injury here, either... Maybe she is a tough cookie.

Growling continues. ]

[discomfort]

[ well ok i guess

PATS HER HEAD. GOOD GIRL. ]

[dropoffs]

[ Still growling, but she will be handled by NPCs to like... Be tame and pampered on the side.

Aurora may still be used to cross reference or check anything, though. ]

[ guy can also be used as a chewtoy and will probably be feeding and petting too in between trial stuff ]
