Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Margaret and Sora's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

at first glance, congratulations, all her body parts are there! he'll immediately notice sora's neck and upper torso is bloody. as well, there are some odd black streaks visible on her skin there. one of her arms also seems like it has seen better days... ]
no subject
okay, weird! that's a lot to look at. he'll start with the neck and head first then. is there a corresponding injury to the blood on her neck? any damage to her face that's visible? he will also check her ears, eyes, and mouth for any discoloration, injury, et cetera. ]
no subject
there's nothing visible on her face, and nothing to note in her eyes, ears and mouth!
for the neck, it's probably hard to tell right off the bat because golly gee! that's a lot of blood!! luckily temenos is allegedly not squeamish and wearing gloves. while he's playing in the blood, he can notice that while it seems to have pooled more to the side of her neck than down towards her torso. the source of the Most Blood is what appears to be a stab wound to the jugular area, but there is a second stab wound on the side of her neck closer to the back. ]
no subject
anyhoo. no, he is not squeamish at all, so he will carefully check out the two stab wounds. how far apart are they? do they look roughly the same size? ]
no subject
the stab wounds look about the same size! they're not too far apart on the neck, as they're both on the same side. a couple of inches at most. enough to be distinct from one another, but not too far. ]
no subject
gotcha, okay. weird. on the right or left side of the neck or does it not matter... before i move on from the head and neck area, he'll also check her head for any lumps or bumps, i forgot to do that before! ]
no subject
it doesn't matter because the jugular is on both sides of the neck... but i'll give you that the second stab nearer to the back looks like it might have hit her spine going from the wound angle. he can see it in his neck wound mind palace.
there is a lump at the back of her head when he checks! it isn't massive or teeny tiny, it is Generic Bump Shaped. ]
no subject
but alright, thanks! lump noted. was the blood on her upper torso from a corresponding injury visible over her clothing? what about the black streaks, are those just on her clothes or on her skin? ]
no subject
while some of the blood is probably from the neck, there is a visible wound on her chest! closer to the sternum area. there's definitely blood that came from there and seems to have stained her clothes, but not nearly as much as the neck. ]
no subject
okay otherwise. does it look like a stab wound also at her sternum? similar in size to the neck wounds? he'll start unbuttoning her blouse to check out the status of anything under her clothes... she might sit up and kill me but better a gay and uninterested man than someone else probably ]
no subject
the stab wound does seem a similar size and shape to the neck wounds. while getting her Nekkid, tem will notice that there's a lot of that same black under where the hem of her clothes was. other than that, there's some bruising over her torso. ]
no subject
anywho. okay. he's going to take out a little tissue from his pocket and swipe some of that black goop onto there, and then set it aside.
the stuff is just under the hem? and where's the bruising, or is it (mumbles) bruising. while we're here, you said one of her arms had seen better days? which one? ]
no subject
tem: i have black corpse goo
anyway, yeah, it's just under the hem. it doesn't really go further under the clothes. it is (mumbles) bruising for the most part, though some do appear to be darker than others. there's no distinct shapes, just. some are darker (mumbles) bruising.
first, very important, she was wearing red mittens on her hands. that's the only part of her outfit that is different than her usual. but her left arm is the fucked up one! there appears to be some gouges on her left forearm. ]
no subject
anyway. MITTENS? are they the like, standard ones we got when it was cold?? do they feel warm to the touch.
he'll look at the left arm before that though. where are the gouges on the arm? are they really deep? are there a lot of em or just (mumbles) some gouges ]
no subject
the gouges are on the forearm! there's four total, three that seem more on the top side of the forearm and one a little under, though they're all pretty evenly spaced out. they're a few inches deep. he took off the shirt, but he'll have noticed the gouges are the same on her clothes and on the skin, location wise. ]
no subject
all on the front of the arm or the side? are there any other marks or scrapes besides just that. are the mittens still warm at the moment i can't remember if they turn on or off or just like, are like that.
anyway off go the mittens. how do her hands look ]
no subject
the mittens are not turned on! when he removes them, he'll note they also look a little ragged. there's some cuts around the fingers and palms.
her hands seem to be slightly bruised around her palms. ]
no subject
noted. is there any of the black stuff on the mittens? are the cuts anywhere in specific? do any of them cut through the material? is the damage more concentrated on the gloves anywhere?
what about cuts on her hands? also where's the bruising on her palms, does it have a certain shape or size? ]
no subject
there's no black on the mittens! there is only black on the skin.
the cuts on the mittens are just on the palms and fingers! some do make it through the mittens, but don't seem to have reached the skin, because there's no cuts on her hands themselves. the bruising on her palms is closer and darker near the bottom of the palm (nearer the wrist), but there's no distinct shape to it.
also, re: the sample of black goo tem took, did he just leave it on the table next to him or is it in his pocket ]
no subject
also im so afraid. the tissue with the sample is on the table next to the body atm........ ]
no subject
okay! then he will notice it looks like the black goo is gone...? ]
no subject
what the hell. okay. what if he swipes a little bit of onto his fingers? irresponsible but whatever. if it disappears, how long does that take? ]
no subject
no subject
her right arm is undamaged beyond the bruising on her palms, right? otherwise he'll check her leggies for any damages. what's she wearing? are there any rips or tears in it? more black stuff?? ]
no subject
her leggies have no damage once uncovered! her clothes also seem damageless. maybe a little bloody, but it seems consistent with blood that would've gone down from her torso wound or just the neck. jugulars bleed so much. there's no black stuff either! ]
