Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your second trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Viktor's murder. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

no subject
but okay. can he get a gauge of how it was tampered with? does it look like any mechanisms are dented, wires cut/switched, etc? any food or mystery powder or blood inside? ]
no subject
from what he can see everything seems pretty purposeful. things have been switched around inside to tamper with said mechanisms so no dents or anything like that. some pieces do look like they were pried off though. no blood or mystery powder. ]
no subject
he's also turning on the flashlight kind of app thing we have for the i.r.i.s. to really check the crevices for anything that might stand out. ]
no subject
a flashlight helps and makes it easier to see. but nothing else stands out. ]
no subject
the wheels are blocked but he's going to check the tread on them. does it look like there's anything stuck in them like powder/blood/food etc? and the bot itself is dented and scuffed but is it more like baby "ouchie i ran into a table :(" dents or "someone or something purposefully hit me D:" dents? is there anything potentially tucked away in the tray-carrying compartment or its arms or etc? it says on locations they can wave so i'm assuming there are arms somehow. ]
no subject
there's a notable obvious dent on it that would give the impression of a purposeful hit. everything else is a bit too minor and small scuffs otherwise.
nothing is tucked away in any of those. this robocat was on a Mission. ]
no subject
he's using his hand as a comparison which does not mean much on account of having child-sized hands. ]
no subject
using his smol hand it wouldn't exactly be more rounded, it's more that it's a bit concaved. ]
no subject
since the panel's open and he's himself, is it possible for him to study the inside and try to reprogram the robot back to its happy kitty demeanor? he's trying mostly to get a sense of how long this might take someone who knows what they're doing. ]
no subject
he can have a moment to study the inside if he wants. nobody is stopping him. for someone who knows what they're doing, it's going to take a bit of time given its mechanisms but likely about 15 mins. ]
no subject
does the robot still work now...is it a happy kitty again... everything has its place and nothing else seems odd about it now? ]
no subject
the cat seems calmer and more its default state as shoma is used to seeing them the past week, just teary-eyed looking at him. 。゚( ゚இ‸இ゚+)゚。 everything has its place, nothing is missing or odd now! ]
no subject
he...will pat the robot on the head. there, there. good kitty. ]
Sorry. We're probably going to have to do some more comparisons. [ but okay! one more thing and i will stop bugging you guys probably, if he removes the cloth that was blocking its wheels and sets the robot upright, can he get it to follow him a little to see if the wheels were damaged at all/leaves any marks? ]
no subject
when it's propped up and no longer blocked, it moves around for a bit and from watching it it doesn't seem like they were damaged. it moves just fine and no marks are made from its moving. ]
no subject
but cool. he observes for a little before patting the kitty again and wandering off to report his results. ]
