Good morning, junior crew. With the heavy news of last night carrying into Saturday morning, things are incredibly quiet around the CSS Eudora. You may carry on with your personal business during the morning, but come 11:00, a soothing voice will cut into the air and announce that at 12:00 everyone must report to "the Conference Hall." Strange, however, that it's not on the map.
Never fear, your I.R.I.S. will automatically project a small beam of warm, orange light on the ground, directing you towards an enormous lift stationed by the mess hall. Come 11:50, if you aren't on the lift, you will certianly find yourself moving there physically whether you intend it or not. The lift is capable of carrying every occupant of the Eudora to a sublevel ramp that leads towards the mentioned Conference Hall.
The enormous hall opens up past two large, double doors with the word EUDORA printed over it. Within, a lengthy monitor sprawls across the entirety of it, displaying Thursday night's victims profiles along with a large map of the Eudora herself. With plush, dark seats in rows and a long table at the head of the room where four members of your senior crew await, it is clear what exactly this space is for, especially as the words TRIAL IN SESSION appear on the monitor and an ominous-looking countdown:

Welcome to your fifth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Diluc's and Nero's murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST to 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot. Voting is mandatory for Spacecoast, acting as our weekly activity check in this game.
Good luck!

anyway, it's hard to tell for sure since there is a lot of blood that seems to have spilled out from that neck cut and also diluc's own hair is red, but there's slight similar traces around his hairline and temples. his hair is sticky. rip. ]
no subject
he moves on-- is the slit in his throat clean or more jagged? iirc his clothes were messed up too, are they like, slashed/torn?]
no subject
his clothes are mostly fine, though his right shoulder has some torn clothes there. i say clothes because he is wearing layers. there's some discoloration around that area, though not a ton. there's more discoloration on some parts of his upper body in small spotches and streaks. it mostly appears to be darker red on his already red suit... and then some random red on the grey parts that shows more obviously you get the idea. ]
no subject
whatcha got buddy]
no subject
anyway, in his pockets:
-there is a piece of paper in his inner jacket pocket.
-two knives.
-a heal gun
-a multi-tool
-a cool looking gem/jewelry thing that probably looks familiar.
congrats on your loot! now diluc is naked. what do you want to look at? ]
no subject
he will look at the paper, first-- gregor will deposit the rest of this in evidence but he does want to see if there's anything on this before he does. sorry. he's nosy about that part.
after that he's going to check him over for injuries, starting with a better look at the neck wound and then moving to the torso/arms.]
no subject
yeah it smells strongly of mustard.
it's... a blank piece of paper! mostly. there's some traces of red on it. for more details go under evidence. there is no visible secret message to snoop on, though.
for the neck, it's a clean, deep slice! not like SEVERAL INCHES YOU CAN SEE THE INSIDE BITS WITH CLARITY deep, but deep enough to infer this would definitely bleed out pretty quickly.
there's some old scars all over his body, but those don't seem relevant. where the clothing was torn on his right shoulder, there appears to be a stab wound in the juncture between the torso and the arm. nothing else stands out on his torso. ]
no subject
he will also check out his arms and his hands and fingies, checking them out, turning his hands over to see all of them.]
no subject
nothing stands out on the arms, hands and fingies besides some old scars! now you are holding hands with your dead roommate. yay. ]
no subject
and then he will move further down to check the rest of diluc's body for wounds, how is the lower half looking.]
no subject
anyway, there's nothing on the lower half (his dick is still there before anyone says anything)...
but when he gets to the feet, there's a circling bruise around his ankle. ]
no subject
looking closer at the circling bruise. does it go the whole way around his ankle? is it like, a single line type of thing or more the type you would see from something like fingers.]
no subject

no subject
no subject
after checking that he will turn diluc over so that he can check the back of him, also.]
no subject
nothing on the back! ]

no subject
he goes through diluc's things again, just double checking, but he'll be finished there.]
no subject
i was trying to be coy about it at the time as a joke but google betrayed me so now im like ITS THE VISION GUYS ]
