This week is a little different from the last. So many of you stayed at the brig with the Senior Crew to take shifts watching over the incarcerated. Everyone is vigilant, this time prepared. Even if this may not work, there's a desire to show resistance and defiance, or maybe it's just a night to bond...

All is calm, peaceful, until dawn breaks.

Emergency alarms blare loudly, waking everyone up and, if that isn't enough, everyone is force-ejected outside the brig and stasis bay, briefly capable of seeing their capsuled dead with Viktor recently added to the number. [ Yuri is quiet, but she puts her own hand over Ichiban's that's on her shoulder. ]

[ rosamund's arrow strikes. eunhyuk forces it through his body and pulls it out. blood flows.

ichiban squeezes yuri's shoulder again, grateful for the nonverbal support. ]

[ The squeeze on the shoulder is fine and she gently pats the back of his hand. There, there... She doesn't flinch at seeing the violence and the way Eunhyuk forces the arrow through his body. She knows he's trying to be as thorough with whatever he can get. ]

[ ichiban isn't bothered—if anything, he's sad for yuri that she isn't, either, but there are other matters at hand.

he watches rosamund try to lift eunhyuk, watches her falter and rest his head in her lap. ]

[ Yuri seems to hesitate for a moment, opening her mouth to say something... but then closes her mouth.

[ he looks away when rosamund kisses eunhyuk, doesn't feel like it's right for him to witness what should be a private moment. he lifts the arm that hosts his i.r.i.s., using it to wipe at his eyes as the sound of rosamund's final arrow piercing eunhyuk's neck cuts through the otherwise tense silence.

he drops his other hand from yuri's shoulder, and reaches for her balled up one instead. ]

[ The moment is over. Eunhyuk is dead. Rosamund is alive. The procedures will carry out as usual. And it will be like this over and over.

Her free hand relaxes and the hand that was over Ichiban's hand drops to her side. The nail marks on her palm are clear, deep, and almost bleeding. Yuri sees the decommission message and swallows, quietly breathing out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
